Attention to all Shoreline Swing dancers: On 17 May 2009, Shoreline Swing's Sunday dance will be held at the Italian-American Citizens Club, 322 Mitchell Street, Groton, CT, as part of Mystic Blues smoke-free weekend. Please note the change of location! The beginner East Coast Class will still run from 7-7:30 pm and the DJed dance will follow with music by Wil Reed and Kevin Woods
Directions to The German Club
Frohsinn Hall (Greenmanville Ave - Rt 27), Mystic CT
Mystic, CT: I-95 (North or South) to Exit 90. Northbound traffic will turn right at the end of the ramp; Southbound traffic will turn left. Continue past the Seamen's Inn Restaurant and you'll see the hall on your left. Park at the rear of the Frohsinn Hall (German Club).
Directions to the East Lyme Community Center
41 Society Rd, East Lyme, CT
From the north or south- Take exit 74. Turn right at the end of the ramp and go 1.0 mile to the third stop light. Turn right onto Society Road. The ELCC is a quarter mile on the right.
Directions to The Italian-America Citizens Club
322 Mitchell Street, Groton, CT
From the North: Take I-95 South to exit 87 on the left towards Clarence B. Sharp Highway/CT 349 towards Rt. 1 (1.1 Miles). Turn RIGHT onto Meridian Street (.4 Miles). Turn LEFT onto Mitchell Street (.6 Miles). The Italian-American Citizens Club will be the gray building on your left hand side.
From the South:Take I-95 North to exit 85 Thames Street (.4 Miles). Take a slight left at North Street (.3 Miles). Continue onto Mitchell Street (.6 Miles) and the Italian-American Citizens Club will be the gray building on your left hand side.
Directions to Pine Point School
89 Barnes Road, Stonington, CT
From the South: Take the CT-234 exit, EXIT 91, toward NO. MAIN STREET/ STONINGTON BOROUGH. At the end of the ramp, turn RIGHT onto CT-234/ PEQUOT TRAIL. Turn LEFT onto NORTH MAIN STREET. You will see a sign for Pine Point School. Then turn LEFT onto BARNES ROAD again following the signs for Pine Point School.
From the North: Take EXIT 91 toward PEQUOT TRAIL/ STONINGTON/ NO. MAIN STREET/ CT-234. Turn SLIGHT LEFT onto TAUGWONK ROAD. TAUGWONK ROAD becomes CT-234/ PEQUOT TRL. Turn LEFT onto NORTH MAIN STREET following the signs for Pine Point School. Turn LEFT onto BARNES RD again with a sign to Pine Point School.
